Inès Vanlaeys is a french artist based in Paris. Her work revolves around raw textures, silhouettes, movements and imprecise compositions. She plays with bold brushstrokes and raw, vibrant colors to convey vitality and evoke the ethereal sensations one feel when faced with the sea or an infinite plain. Inès finds inspiration in Corsica and the Alps. The imposing silence of the mountains, the vast, raw landscapes and the rapture of a dancing crowd are for her the same thing: a rush of life you feel in the throat. A rush that she seeks to represent on canvas.
