Flora Fire

I am a contemporary artist in Los Angeles whose work often grapples with themes of longing, tension, grasping for better - for myself, others and this planet.  There's always an element of loss in my work but I like to hide behind it through brighter, more playful-looking imagery and color palette.  Not as a means to confuse the viewer but rather to show the disparities and dualities of joy, hope and loss.
